Visit to Memphis

We went to Memphis in June to visit daddy while he is training. It was a hot and steamy weekend so we decided to see the sites and jump in the pool whenever we had a chance. Jack finally let go of mommy and daddy while swimming (reluctantly) and started using his scoops and kicks to help him get around. He even got carried away and started jumping in on his own! The life jacket we got him from Target is the winner! Love it!

Just look at that technique. He'll be the next Michael Phelps.

Our jumper. Doesn't even want to get caught and likes the thrill of going under the water to show off his diving skills!

Afterwards we needed to dry off and warm up. Cool dude! A buddy of Brian's took us in his truck to the Children's museum they have in Memphis. Highly recommend it if you're there with kids. They had a huge FedEx cockpit. You can guess where we spent most of our time. Every other thing we had to do was go back to the plane section where Jack instinctively went into the left seat. Daddy was so proud. He found a few other choice area's to play and the movie theater was playing one of his favorite movies, Curious George! What a wonderful day!

Making sure it's all clear and going through his checklist. The museum had different stations for kids to learn all sorts of things. Although this was definitly his favorite, he loved the fishing, the body systems and the fire truck and police cars...naturally. All boy!

Notice the Pratt & Whitney logo. Our fighter jet pilot found a few seconds to pause for this pic! Kiko would be proud.
