Halloween!

Halloween, 2008

The trailer geared up, we set of in Uncle Sean and Aunt Jeni's neighborhood to hit up all the houses for trick or treat and booze for the adults. Coolers out, adults at the end of their driveways with firepits and beers in hand ready for the kids! Amanda hit the first few houses and once she got a sucker she decided that was it! Jordan had the routine down and raked it in. Jack too Jordan's lead and quickly figured things out, although sometimes sat on the sidelines with Amanda. Elliot just thought it was fun to run and see all the doggies!

Sean and Jeni's neighbors go all out. The trailer winners were the two story castle attached to a farmers tractor and the Scooby Do Mystery Machine. Kids were climbing all over inside that two level monster and at the top they were projecting Scooby Do old school cartoons! We have to step it up next year!

Craziness! This was the first night in a long time where it was actually a gorgeous day out and slightly cooler in the evening. The winds kicked in afterwords and the bonfire was cancelled but the boys decided basketball was a suitable substitute.

Pizza and soup afterwords and playing out in the driveway. Lots of fresh air!

Pumpkin Party #2

In the beginning everyone was rarin' and ready to help out and carve their pumpkins.

Not one of them would touch the pumpkin guts! And one by one the fell off and decided playing elsewhere was a better idea leaving me, Sean and Dan to do all the carving!

Elliot was the only one to stick it out and finish his pumpkin, at least the guts part. I don't think he got his hands in there but he loved to use his spoon to help out! What a trooper!

Jack's Fall Favorites!

Jack's taken to mommy's interest in cameras! Not a bad shot too if you ask me! We're such a stylin' family! ha!

Here's our little pilot in training! He loves his jacket and showing it off. Every time he wears it he's got a little more attituted in his walk.

After all was done the boys were able to let loose and play in the leaves! Jack's little buddy, Ronan!

Fashion Day!

FALL FASHION!

Ronan, Colin and Daddy hanging out. A beautiful day to take pictures. The weather was perfect, the sky was clear, the boys were agreeable!

The boys enjoyed jumping in the leaves being out in the open!

Colin decided to try things out and make sure they weren't edible.

Someone needs a hobby :)

Pumpkin Party

Aiden was psyched to have the annual pumpkin party at his house this year! In preparation he slept extra long (only during the day though) and made sure to let mommy to know when he was hungry! What a cutie!

The low temperature for the afternoon was 85 degrees. Susan and I came back from a Door County weekend with the ya-ya's to join the party late. Glad I got to spend time with my mom and mother-in-law and get to my party. Was a packed weekend, one for the books.

Thanks to Nikki, Anna and Adam the day was a great success, even the Bear's lost in a last minute run by the opposing team! Sorry Keara, haha! Lots of pumpkins, food and sugar!

Grandma

Great Grandma died after a long fight around 7am on October 10th. She fought to get well the past year and finally decided to go peacefully to watch over us from above.

I'll always remember the fun we all had, all the get togethers. Good Friday, Afterglow, day after Thanksgiving Christmas set-up, Candy Cane lane, Christmas Eve waiting for Santa and many more great memories! She had a fighting, stubborn spirit but did everything she could for her family the best way she knew.
